How much does it cost?

The recommended retail price for a Junior Blasters program is $99 including GST. Some centres may charge a higher fee to cover any additional costs to the program so prices may vary. Please contact your centre coordinator for further information.

 

How do I register?

You can register your child online by visiting the  Club Finder and searching for your most convenient Junior Blasters centre.

 

Where is my nearest centre?

Head to the Club Finder and type in your postcode. You will be directed to a list of your local centres, where you’ll find all the relevant contact details and start times.

 

What can I expect at Cricket Blast – Junior Blasters?

An example of what you can expect at a typical Junior Blasters session includes:

- Fun warm up games and activities

- Fun activities that teach kids the fundamental skills of cricket including catching, throwing, bowling and batting.

 

What program should I select for my child?

As a guide:

  • The Cricket Blast - Junior Blasters program is for kids new to cricket who want to build their fundamental movement skills. As a guide kids in this program are generally aged 5 to 8.
  • The Cricket Blast - Master Blasters program is for kids who can bowl with a straight arm over 14m. As a guide kids in this program are generally aged 7 – 11.

I have registered my child for the wrong program / wrong club and need to request a refund, how do I do this?

Cricket Australia will only consider a request for refund to the Cricket Blast program in the following circumstances:

  • The request for refund is made 7 days prior to the commencement of the registered program or if the program is cancelled at no fault of the participant;
  • the participant has enrolled in the incorrect level of the program and wishes to transfer to either Junior Blasters or Master Blasters as applicable; or
  • 50% of program sessions are cancelled by the registered Cricket Blast centre due to inclement weather.

How long will it take for my child to receive their participant pack?

Participant packs will be delivered to your nominated home address within 7 – 10 business days.

How do I order Cricket Blast – Junior Blasters centre equipment?

You can order Junior Blasters centre equipment via your clubs Cricket Blast – Junior Blasters Centre Management section in MyCricket. You will be directed to the ordering system where you can place a new order for a full kit, a sundry kit or for single items.

What equipment do I receive for my Cricket Blast – Junior Blasters centre?

Depending on your affiliated state, you may be eligible for a voucher to purchase centre equipment. Please contact the Cricket Blast Helpdesk on 1800 CRICKET (1800 274 25 38) for more details.

I am having trouble ordering my Coordinator Pack

What size shirts are available to be ordered?

Cricket Blast Shirt sizes vary from 6-16. Every effort should be made to get the size right the first time given customisation means it cannot be adjusted. If in doubt ,it is best to order one size larger. If a Cricket Club is providing a shirt to their participants, communication needs to be made with clubs about shirt sizes.

Why can’t I order participant packs?

All participant packs are sent directly to participants nominated address following their individual registration. As a coordinator, you will receive participant cricket bats for you to distribute to participants at your centre. Why do I receive participant cricket bats?

As a coordinator, you will receive participant cricket bats for you to distribute to participants at your centre. This will allow you to engage with participants and parents in the early weeks of your program. If you have any queries, please contact the Cricket Blast Helpdesk via email at cricketblast@cricket.com.au or call 1800 CRICKET (1800 274 25 38).

Who do I contact if I wish to have support in the delivery of my program?

Please contact your Regional Cricket Manager for any support required. If you do not have their contact details, please contact the Cricket Blast Helpdesk via email at cricketblast@cricket.com.au or call 1800 CRICKET (1800 274 25 38) and they can give you your local Regional Cricket Manager’s contact information.

How do I register participants for my program myself?

We strongly encourage all Cricket Blast participants to register and pay online which can be done on a computer or a mobile device. This will eliminate the need for you to have to enter any participant details into MyCricket.

If you have participants that are unable to register online, please contact the Cricket Blast Helpdesk via email at cricketblast@cricket.com.au or call 1800 CRICKET (1800 274 25 38).

How do I pay for the packs I have ordered?

We strongly encourage all Cricket Blast participants to register and pay online which can be done on a computer or a mobile device. Online payments are automatically processed and received by your State Cricket Association so you will not need to handle cash payments.

If you have taken cash payments you will be invoiced by your State Cricket Association for the cost of the participant registration fees. How do I provide my clubs bank account details to MyCricket?

We ask that all Cricket Blast – Junior Blasters Coordinators discuss with their clubs treasurer about bank details. It may be that your club has already provided MyCricket with bank details however we ask that you review your clubs bank details to ensure there are no complications during the season. How can I contact last year’s participants?

Last year’s participants can be contacted on the Centre Management page in MyCricket.

How do I contact this year’s participants?

When you have activated your Cricket Blast – Junior Blasters Centre Management there is a specific green tile for emailing this season’s participants, which can be used to promote information regarding your centre. This email has a specifically designed template for your centre – you simply need to type in the details of your program.

How do I order medals for my participants?

You can order Cricket Blast participant medals on the Order Management System. Medals will need to be paid for at the point of checkout by credit/debit card. If you need assistance with ordering, please contact the Cricket Blast Helpdesk via email at cricketblast@cricket.com.au or call 1800 CRICKET (1800 274 25 38).

How do I organise school visits to promote my centre?

School visits are organised through your Regional Cricket Manager, if you would like your Regional Cricket Manager’s contact details please contact the Cricket Blast Helpdesk via email at cricketblast@cricket.com.au or call 1800 CRICKET (1800 274 25 38).

Where do I get my promotional flyers and poster from for this season?

This season all promotional material will be downloadable on the Cricket Blast Centre Management section in MyCricket or the MyCricket Community website for you to edit for your specific centre and print at the club.
