MILO T20 Blast Parents

What is the cost?

The recommended retail price for a MILO T20 Blast program is $99 inclusive of GST, though some centres may charge a higher fee to cover any additional costs to the program. This may vary from centre to centre. Please contact the program deliverer at your preferred centre for further information.

How do I register?

You can register your child online on your laptop or mobile device by visiting the Club Finder and registering at your nearest MILO T20 Blast centre.

Where is my nearest centre?

Head to the Club Finder and type in your postcode. You will be directed to a list of your local centres with all of the relevant contact details and start times.

What can I expect at MILO T20 Blast?

An example of what you can expect at a typical MILO T20 Blast session includes:

  • Fun warm up games and activities
  • Fun MILO T20 Blast modified games
  • Skills Zone where your child can learn cricket based skills i.e. catching, throwing, bowling and batting

When does MILO T20 Blast start?

The start date and time is listed on the Club Finder. If there is no start date and time listed, please contact the program deliverer for up to date information.

What program should I select for my child?

Cricket Australia’s entry level programs are ability based. As a guide:

  • The MILO in2CRICKET program is for children aged 5 to 9.
  • The MILO T20 Blast program is for children aged 7 to 12.

What should kids wear to MILO T20 Blast Programs?

Children should wear comfortable clothing suitable for sporting activity. As part of the program, your child will receive a MILO T20 Blast shirt and cap. These items (along with the entire participant pack) will be received shortly after the commencement of the program. It is advised that your child wears these items to help the coordinator of the program manage children.

Who delivers the MILO T20 Blast sessions?

Each centre has a MILO T20 Blast program deliverer who runs the administration side of each centre. Every MILO T20 Blast program deliverer is a professionally developed cricket program deliverer. All parents are encouraged to get involved in MILO T20 Blast in the roles of Team Manager, Scorer, Umpire or Skills Zone assistant and no experience is necessary.

How do I pay the registration fee for MILO T20 Blast?

You can simply register and pay for the MILO T20 Blast program on your computer or mobile device. Please visit playcricket.com.au to register your child and pay via credit/debit card upon the completion of your registration.

I’m having trouble registering and/or paying online

To pay online please follow the steps below:

  1. Go to the Club Finder and choose to register at your local centre.
  2. Complete the registration form
  3. Review your child’s details and click submit
  4. Follow the payment prompts

I can’t select my school on the registration form.

All schools should be listed on the online registration form. Please ensure that the correct school name is entered including any apostrophes.

Can I pay for my children in one transaction rather than separately?

No, each child needs to be registered individually.

Can I still register mid-way through the season?

MILO T20 Blast centres will have different start and end dates from centre to centre. You can still register and go to the next available session. Please contact the program deliverer before completing the registration form to ensure there are enough sessions left to provide value for your child’s cricket development.

How long does a MILO T20 Blast session run for?

Sessions will vary on their length depending on your centre though MILO T20 Blast sessions should run for no longer than 90 minutes.

How long will it take for my child to receive their participant pack?

Participant packs will be distributed by your MILO T20 Blast program deliverer at your program venue. Please contact your program deliverer for further advice on when your child should expect their participant pack.

Is there a MILO T20 Blast that caters for special needs kids?

The MILO in2CRICKET program provides opportunities for all kids to participate and enjoy cricket in a fun and safe environment regardless of ability. Programs exclusively for kids with a disability are offered in most states and territories. To find out more about where these programs exist, please contact the MILO in2CRICKET Helpdesk on 1800 CRICKET.

Our mainstream MILO in2CRICKET programs are inclusive of all kids, including those kids with a disability and we encourage kids with disabilities to register for these programs. Communication is very important in these instances however and it is important to contact the MILO in2CRICKET centre coordinator (prior to attending your first session) to provide them information on the type of disability and advice on what types of support/modifications can be incorporated to make the program more enjoyable for the participant. This will ensure our Centre Coordinator (volunteer) has plenty of time to make any necessary adjustments (if any) and are as well prepared as possible. All parents and guardians are also encouraged to participate in the program as volunteers who can provide an extra layer of support if required.

Can I receive a refund?

Following registration and payment for the MILO T20 Blast program there are no refunds. The only exception to this is if your chosen MILO T20 Blast program gets cancelled by the program deliverer prior to the commencement date. Will my child get to participate during the lunch breaks of the International Test Series?

There are a number of exclusive opportunities for selected MILO T20 Blast programs throughout the season. Each state has different requirements for centres to be eligible to participate.

Selected MILO T20 Blast program deliverers will be contacted during the season if they have met all eligibility requirements.

My child has never played cricket before. Will they be able to keep up with the other children?

MILO T20 Blast is a very inclusive program that can be picked up by children who may have never played cricket before, if you believe your child has natural coordination then they will be more than capable to participate in MILO T20 Blast. If you are still unsure most clubs have the option of FREE ‘Come and Try’ days at the start of the program for you to come and see if MILO T20 Blast suits your child. If your child is not ready for MILO T20 Blast they can start with MILO in2CRICKET or if they are ready to advance from MILO T20 Blast they can play junior club cricket.

Can parents get involved?

When parents/guardians fill out the participant registration form online, they have the option to tick whether they are willing to assist on-field or off-field. You can also contact your program deliverer directly to express your interest in assisting with the program.

Why are MILO T20 Blast rules and equipment modified?

MILO T20 Blast is a modified cricket program designed to be a bridging program from MILO in2CRICKET and ensure that children who are engaged in cricket but are not ready for hard ball club cricket can continue to learn to play cricket in a fun and safe environment without the pressure of playing to win.

What do I receive in my Team Manager Kit?

The MILO T20 Blast Team Manager kits consist of promotional material such as MILO T20 Blast A4 flyers and MILO T20 Blast A3 Posters, if you do not wish to be sent any flyers or posters please check out the ‘MILO T20 Blast Team Manager Kit’ without adding anything to it and you will be able to then order MILO T20 Blast Participant Packs.

Who do I contact if I wish to flag my clubs interest in participating in MILO T20 Blast?

MILO T20 Blast programs ar professionally deleivered by Cricket Australia staff, if your club wishes to participate in a MILO T20 Blast program please contact your Regional Cricket Manager. If you do not have their contact details, please contact the MILO T20 Blast Helpdesk on 1800 CRICKET (1800 274 25 38) and they can give you your local Regional Cricket Manager’s contact information.

How do I register participants for my program myself?

We strongly encourage all MILO T20 Blast participants to register and pay online which can be done on a computer or a mobile device. This will eliminate the need for you to have to enter any participant details into MyCricket.

If you have participants that are unable to register online, please contact the MILO T20 Blast at t20blast@cricket.com.au or 1800 CRICKET (1800 274 25 38).

How do I pay for the packs I have ordered?

We strongly encourage all MILO T20 Blast participants to register and pay online which can be done on a computer or a mobile device. Online payments are automatically processed and received by your State Cricket Association so you will not need to handle cash payments.

If you have taken cash payments you will be invoiced by your State Cricket Association for the cost of the participant registration fees. If you have any questions regarding payment, please email the MILO T20 Blast Helpdesk at t20blast@cricket.com.au.

How do I provide my clubs bank account details to MyCricket?

We ask that all MILO T20 Blast Deliverers or administrators discuss with their clubs treasurer about bank details. It may be that your club has already provided MyCricket with bank details however we ask that you review your clubs bank details to ensure there are no complications during the season. If you require assistance please contact the MILO T20 Blast Helpdesk on 1800 CRICKET (1800 274 25 38).

How can I track the delivery of the packs I have ordered?

Once you have placed your order you will receive and email from DTY to the email you designate with all the relevant Australia Post tracking information. If you can’t find your packs’ tracking details please contact the MILO T20 Blast helpdesk on 1800 CRICKET (1800 274 25 38) and they can notify you of how your pack is tracking or provide the Australia Post tracking number for you.

My packs are missing items who do I contact to have the order rectified?

If you are missing items from your order you can log into the Order Management System where you originally ordered the packs and create a ‘support ticket’ using the support tab.

I have received one box of participant packs; I think I should have received more?

If you feel your order hasn’t been fully fulfilled it may be worth waiting for another day or 2 as whilst we despatch every part of the order together they may come in separate boxes and we cannot guarantee that Australia Post will be able to deliver all items at the same time.

How do I create a support ticket for DTY?

You can create a DTY support ticket by visiting the Order management System where you place your orders through MyCricket and click on the support tab.

How can I organise for my order to be express posted?

From season 2015/16 you now have the option of requesting express post, this will be available when checking out and you will need to agree to the terms and conditions. Express post will need to be paid for up front at a flat rate per 7 packs.

Why can I only place orders for participants that appear on the Order Management System?

This season to ensure reconciliation of packs ordered per participant we have only allowed coordinators the ability to order packs for participants who are registered. By having all your participants register online this will remove any administration burden for coordinators on ordering packs as you will not have to chase up any pack types or shirt sizes. This will also ensure that parents who register their children online will receive the exact pack that they have requested.

How do I organise school visits to promote my centre?

School visits are organised through your Regional Cricket Manager, if you would like your Regional Cricket Manager’s contact details please call the MILO T20 Blast Helpdesk on 1800 CRICKET (1800 274 25 38).

Where do I get my promotional flyers and poster from for this season?

This season all promotional material will be downloadable on the MILO T20 Blast Centre Management section in MyCricket or the MyCricket Community website for you to edit for your specific centre and print at the club.
